ASG Registration Requirements

Registration to the Guild is open to individual asbestos surveyors, not companies.

Registration is based on a tiered system and is subject to the submission of supporting information, and its verification via independent audit.

There is no time limit or restriction on tier advancement although enrolled surveyors are expected to advance from each level within 12 months, 6 months for Introductory members. This expectation is in place to allow the registrant to demonstrate professional development and improvement but not to remain stagnant in their progression.

Advancing through levels is purely dependent on the surveyors ability to provide the required information for advancement, and of course, following audit and verification of the preceding levels.

NOTE: Please ensure that you read all of the level requirements BEFORE applying. FEES are none negotiable and are non-refundable once the process has started.

Don't panic if you are not able to provide any of the following for any of the levels. â€‹The Guild are here to help you develop your knowledge, skills and abilities, not to criticize, or chastise, it's about showing and proving competency and improvement of personal and professional abilities .

The Guild reserve the right alter, add, change or adjust enrolment and advancement requirements.
