Survey Audit
Bronze Audit
To advance to the Silver level, the applicant is required to submit a Desk Top Study (DTS) for an asbestos survey.
This should include information that its then used to formulate an appropriate Risk Assessment (RA) and Plan of Work PoW) to safely undertaken the survey. This is a requirement of Regulation 6 and 7 of CAR12.
The PoW and RA will be required for review, this is a separate review to the asbestos survey report. .
Having undertaken the survey, the final, Quality Checked asbestos report should be submitted for review.
CLIENT DETAILS SHOULD BE REDACTED FROM ALL DOCUMENTS BEING SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW
The submitted survey should conform to the requirements of HSG264 as this is what will be used to mark against.
There is an audit fee for reviewing the submitted documents. The total fee will be made known for agreement before the audit is undertaken. The fee will be based on the length, complexity and content of the submitted documents.

Following the audit, a full report of the findings shall be presented. Where issues or errors with the submitted documents are identified the applicant will have one opportunity to rectify those reported and return the documents for a second review, the fee for this second review is included in the review initial review cost .
After a second review, if any further changes are required, any additional fee will be be advised and agreed for any subsequent audit/review is undertaken.
Gold Audit
The survey audit for the Gold level will be either a physical, in person audit of a survey while being undertaken, or it may be possible to live stream the survey while being monitored by an approved ASG auditor.
All pre-survey documents, e.g., DTS, PoW/RA will be required in advance of the survey taking place.
The completed asbestos survey report produced will also be required to complete the audit.
Further advice will be presented during the application to advance to Gold level.
